Job Title:            Office Manager – Part-Time

Summary: The Office Manager (OM) oversees the Center’s accounting, human resources, IT, and administrative functions, interfaces daily with staff and clients, and provides general operational support to the ED.

Reports To:        Executive Director

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants with advanced education.
  • 1-3 years of effectively coaching/training/supervising others

Qualifications:

  • Perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills
  • Remain flexible, available, and teachable; patient and pleasant in stressful situations
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Advanced computer skills; Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office suite, and the Google equivalent
  • Effective in learning and mastering new things• Associate degree; bachelor’s preferred
  • Lift a minimum of 25 pounds; sit or stand for several hours at a time

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process, and acknowledge donations from financial giving partners. Maintain accurate data in our donations database.  
  • Administration: Supports organizational procedures and systems for Center administration, including maintaining records, managing documents, office equipment, and supplies. Assists with bulk mailings.
  • Accounting: Performs bookkeeping duties such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, conducting payroll, and creating expense reports.
  • Human Resources: Coordinates staff job recruiting, onboarding, and exit interviews. Confidentially maintains personnel files and other employment records.
  • IT: Liaises with vendors and others to ensure systems are secure and staff can work as efficiently as possible.
  • Communication: Assist with answering phones and greeting clients. Initiate calls to vendors, clients, donors, and other constituencies as needed.
  • Leadership: Maintains an effective office atmosphere through the exercise of personal leadership, a good example, and strong proactive communication. Demonstrates strong independent judgment and problem-solving skills daily. 
  • Abide by the Center’s policies, procedures, rules, and employee handbook at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned by the ED.

Pay:       Negotiable based on experience.
